As defence spending and capability development continue to accelerate across Europe and the Nordic region, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Country Manager to drive our growth in Sweden. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding DeltaQuad's presence across the Swedish defence and security market and positioning the DeltaQuad Evo as the preferred tactical ISTAR UAV solution.
The Role
As Country Manager Sweden, you will be responsible for developing and executing DeltaQuad's commercial strategy across the Swedish market. You will drive business growth, build strategic relationships throughout the defence ecosystem and position DeltaQuad for long-term success.
Acting as DeltaQuad's senior representative in Sweden, you will identify opportunities, secure strategic partnerships and support customers throughout complex procurement and acquisition processes. Working closely with international colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth in one of Europe's most strategically important defence markets.
This is a highly autonomous role for an entrepreneurial individual who combines commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the defence landscape and the ability to build long-term trusted relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute DeltaQuad's growth strategy for Sweden.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the defence, security and government sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, procurement authorities and strategic partners.
Lead complex sales processes, including tenders, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and procurement programmes.
Secure multi-year contracts and strategic partnerships.
Position DeltaQuad Evo as the leading tactical VTOL UAV solution across the Swedish market.
Represent DeltaQuad at industry events, exhibitions and conferences.
Maintain a qualified pipeline and accurate forecasting through HubSpot CRM.
Deliver commercial targets, revenue growth and market expansion.
Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
What Success Looks Like
Develop a deep understanding of defence procurement cycles and key stakeholders within the Swedish market.
Identify and convert opportunities where DeltaQuad's VTOL ISTAR capabilities address operational requirements.
Build trusted relationships with defence organisations, procurement authorities and strategic partners.
Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, tenders and programmes.
Establish DeltaQuad Evo as a recognised and trusted tactical UAV solution within Sweden.
Contribute directly to DeltaQuad's long-term commercial growth and market leadership in the Nordic region.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking, gained through education and/or relevant professional experience.
Significant experience in a senior commercial, business development or leadership role within the defence, aerospace, security or high-technology sectors.
Proven track record of securing complex contracts and delivering sustainable business growth.
Strong understanding of defence procurement processes and stakeholder landscapes.
Well-established network within the Swedish defence, security and government sectors.
Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish defence industry and/or NATO programmes is highly desirable.
An established network within the Swedish Ministry of Defence, the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and key industry stakeholders is considered a significant advantage.
Familiarity with Nordic defence cooperation initiatives and the evolving security landscape in Northern Europe is advantageous.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially astute with a strong strategic mindset and an entrepreneurial approach.
Ability to operate independently whilst collaborating effectively within an international organisation.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel extensively within Sweden and internationally as required.
