Head of Procurement & Supply Chain
Build the supply chain behind the next generation of autonomous drone technology.
As DeltaQuad continues to scale internationally, we're looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to build a world-class procurement organisation that supports our ambitious growth.
This is far more than a leadership role. It's an opportunity to shape how Procurement & Supply Chain operates within a rapidly growing high-tech company. During the first phase, you'll be closely involved in tactical sourcing and supplier negotiations while laying the foundation for a scalable organisation, robust supplier network and resilient supply chain.
If you enjoy building teams, developing supplier partnerships and solving complex challenges in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.
The role
As Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for developing, leading and continuously improving our Procurement & Supply Chain organisation.
Initially, you'll combine strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, personally leading complex sourcing projects, selecting and developing suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring the timely availability of materials, components and services required for production, projects and customer support.
At the same time, you'll build the processes, governance, supplier network and team that will enable DeltaQuad to scale efficiently and sustainably.
Working closely with Engineering, Production, Operations, Quality, Finance and Compliance, you'll ensure our supply chain remains reliable, agile and ready for future growth.
Your responsibilities
Develop and execute DeltaQuad's Procurement & Supply Chain strategy.
Lead complex sourcing activities, supplier selection and contract negotiations.
Ensure the availability of materials, components and services while balancing quality, cost, delivery performance and supply risk.
Build and continuously improve procurement processes, governance and KPI reporting.
Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Establish supplier performance management, including measurable KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain a resilient international supplier network.
Drive supplier development programmes focused on quality, delivery performance, innovation and cost optimisation.
Develop supplier risk management strategies covering continuity, capacity, quality and geopolitical risks.
Implement dual sourcing and second-source strategies for critical components.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality and Compliance to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing operations.
Lead, coach and further develop the Procurement & Supply Chain organisation as the business continues to grow.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys building organisations as much as optimising them.
You'll likely bring:
Significant experience in Procurement and Supply Chain within a manufacturing, aerospace, defence or other high-tech environment.
Experience developing procurement organisations, supplier networks and scalable processes.
A strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management.
Experience with Supplier Relationship Management and supplier performance management.
Knowledge of supplier risk management and supply chain resilience.
Experience working with ERP systems and procurement analytics.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
A hands-on mindset combined with strategic thinking.
Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is considered an advantage.
Within your first 12 to 24 months, you'll have:
Built a professional and scalable Procurement & Supply Chain organisation.
Established a resilient international supplier network.
Improved supplier performance through structured KPI management and supplier development.
Reduced supply chain risks through effective sourcing and supplier strategies.
Created procurement processes and governance that support DeltaQuad's continued international growth.
Why join DeltaQuad?
At DeltaQuad, you'll have the opportunity to shape a critical function within a fast-growing international technology company.
You'll work alongside passionate colleagues who enjoy solving complex challenges together and who value ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. Your ideas won't disappear into layers of management, they'll directly influence how we grow as an organisation.
In return, we offer:
A competitive salary and employment package.
A 32–38 hour working week with flexible working hours
27 days of annual leave based on a full-time contract.
Excellent pension scheme through the PME Pension Fund.
The opportunity to build and lead a function with real strategic impact.
Excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.
Daily lunch provided by DeltaQuad.
Monthly team drinks and regular team activities.
Research shows that people sometimes hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't tick every box, we'd still encourage you to apply. We'd love to hear your story.
Please note that, as part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this process.
