The role
As our manufacturing volume grows, maintaining smooth production flows, accurate material planning, and strict quality compliance is key to our success. As our Production Planner & Coordinator, you will serve as the operational heartbeat of our assembly line.
Working closely alongside the Production Manager and technicians, you will take ownership of converting incoming sales orders into structured ERP work orders, releasing weekly manufacturing plans, and conducting pre-packing quality audits. Your operational diligence will free up leadership to focus on continuous process improvements while ensuring every autonomous aircraft that leaves our facility meets DeltaQuad’s quality standards.
Key responsibilities
ERP & Work Order Management:
Convert confirmed customer orders into actionable Work Orders in our ERP system in a timely manner.
Plan, generate, and issue weekly Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for the assembly line, balancing capacity with customer delivery schedules.
Check Bill of Materials (BOM) component availability prior to order release, flagging lead-time issues or inventory shortages.
Keep ERP batch statuses, build updates, and order progress up-to-date.
Production Scheduling & Floor Operations:
Build and maintain rolling weekly and monthly schedules based on production priorities and capacity parameters set by the Production Manager.
Provide operational support to the Production Manager, assisting with floor scheduling adjustments and record-keeping.
Pre-Packing Quality Assurance & Documentation Audit:
Perform systematic document checks on both physical and digital build sheets, checklists, and calibration/flight test logs before units move to packing.
Cross-reference serial numbers and physical paperwork with digital ERP records to guarantee 100% component traceability.
Act as the final sign-off gate between active assembly and the shipping/packing station, ensuring incomplete builds or missing paperwork never leave the line.
What you bring
Education & Experience: An MBO+/HBO degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related technical field, alongside 1–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or order processing within a manufacturing environment.
Systems Proficiency: Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, AFAS, or similar) and comfortable working with digital logs and Google Workspace/MS Office.
Detail & Process-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail—you naturally notice missing checkmarks, discrepancies in serial numbers, or inventory mismatches.
Communication & Teamwork: Strong command of English (Dutch is a plus). You communicate clearly with technicians, warehouse staff, and management.
Hands-on & Proactive Mindset: You enjoy being on the shop floor, solving day-to-day scheduling puzzles, and taking ownership of operational processes.
